The Love Bug

For the past couple of Valentines we have had a little visitor on the night before Valentines. I came up with the "Love Bug" who decorates our house and leaves little treats and prizes for each of us. It has been so fun. He even decorates Zach's room, putting hearts all around. We also have a candlelight family dinner. This year was really fun because Zach LOVED every part of it. He loved being able to eat by candlelight and to drink out of the "big glasses". We had chicken cordon bleu, mashed potatoes and green beans, and we drank Crystal Light in our fancy glasses. This morning we woke up and found what the love bug left, then I made pink pancakes. Zach requested the candles again (and again for dinner) and we drank our juice out of those glasses. We have so many people who love us and we had a great Valentines Day.

Yep, we're here!

It seems that alot of my friends have taken a break from blogging, so I am glad I am not alone in that! But we are alive and just living life.
Tonight Zach had an "eve of beauty". I usually give him his haircut, but tonight I decided it was time for Brandon to learn how to do it! He did a great job. Zach sat still while watching "Ramona and Beezus" his current favorite movie. Then after the haircut, it was time for a shave. Now if you know my boys you know there is NO WAY to argue that Zach is Brandon's son. I mean these two are truly cut from the same cloth, two peas in a pod, however you want to say it. Zach has been interested in shaving for awhile, and so Brandon found a way for Zach to be able to. So now when Brandon shaves so does Zach. It is so funny, so tonight I took some pictures of these handsome boys of mine.



These winter days get long sometimes, so I am SOOOO thankful for an unfinished basement and our bouncer. We put it up this week and Zach has just loved being down there bouncing. I hear him giggling and screaming and it makes me happy that he is having fun.


I love watching my boy when he is sleeping. So peaceful. I love this boy!
