New Project

A friend of ours was moving out of her house and had some furniture she wanted to get rid of. We went over to see what she had, when I saw this. I thought it would be a good addition, and that we could use it downstairs for when we finish our basement. Well, it wasn't until we got it home that I realized it wouldn't fit down the stairs. It is a big, HEAVY piece of furniture! So then I knew we were going to put it in the front room. I attempted to spray paint it in the garage, but it was way too cold. So we had to move it in to the kitchen for me to work on it. It took a few days, but I LOVE how it turned out. It is fun to try something new and learn. I learned to never do a painting project in the winter because it takes so long to dry and it has to be done indoors. So, my kitchen cabinets are going to have to wait until next summer.
